Discovery Park’s areas outside Discovery Center offer many varied and interesting opportunities to visitors. Whether touring the historic areas representing life many years ago or pausing in a beautiful garden or alongside a waterfall, visitors will have many opportunities to relax, learn, and enjoy. More than 40 acres of beautiful outside experiences await visitors. A magnificent water feature flowing north to south will allow visitors to enjoy the sights and sounds of flowing water. A hillside amphitheater and an expansive open lawn will provide venues for concerts and outdoor events. Three different gardens will be featured on the grounds: American, European, and Japanese. These beautiful settings will enable visitors to enjoy a relaxing stroll among beautiful flowers, plants, and trees.
