Adam Wakefield from NBC’s “The Voice” Performs June 10!

June 6, 2017

If you own a television then you’ve heard of a show called “The Voice” at least once or twice. It’s known worldwide for showcasing vocal talents of the individuals chosen to be participants of the show. Discovery Park of America is happy to announce that Adam Wakefield, runner-up of “The Voice” season 10, will be here on June 10th!

Adam grew up in New Hampshire, and moved to Nashville to pursue his love of music. While playing a gig in downtown Nashville one night, somebody from NBC’s “The Voice” approached him and asked him to audition for the show. He chose Blake Shelton, one of the judges for season 10, as his coach and he made it to the very final show. Adam was a crowd favorite in the studio and at home throughout season 10. He developed thousands of fans along the way, and his music career was launched!

Adam will be the third and final concert of our Southern Nights music festival and we are very excited. Gates open at 5:30 that night with food vendors, yard games and a fun atmosphere for children and adults. An opening band start at 7:00, and then Adam will take the stage at 8:30. The new Children’s Discovery Garden will be open that night so the kids can play until the sun goes down. Tickets are $10 and children 12 and under are free.

Our Southern Nights Concert Series could not have been successful without the sponsors: Little Caesars, Zaxby’s, Vaughn Electric Company, Kizer Pharmacy, Blue Steel Tool, Inc. and Leaders Credit Union.

This concert will be a great time for all at an affordable price. You can purchase tickets online, by calling 731-885-5455, or at the gate upon arrival. We hope to see you there!
